Hi, I'm Parinaz, 👋
I am an AI-literate UX/UI designer with a programming background and 6+ years of experience across fintech, telecom, and education (with most of my work in fintech). I’m happiest working on complex, high-stakes systems and turning them into experiences that feel clear, calm, and easy to follow.
My strength is workflow thinking: I take messy processes, edge cases, and constraints, then shape them into simple, scalable patterns people can understand, and teams can build with confidence. I also use AI thoughtfully to speed up the right parts of the process- like synthesis, exploration and early drafts- while keeping key decisions grounded in human judgment and real user needs.
Lately, another thing that's become really meaningful to me is mentorship. I've been volunteering as a UX/Product design mentor, guiding junior designers through the full design process, from research and synthesis to prototyping and product thinking. Watching someone go from uncertain to confident in their design decisions is honestly one of the most rewarding things I've experienced in my career.
When I’m not designing, I’m usually learning something new, and keeping balance through meditation, yoga, writing, embroidery, and music. Those are the little rituals that reset my energy and help me show up with more creativity and enthusiasm.
